EUROPAPIER CONTINUES ITS ACQUISITION TRAIL IN HYGIENE & PACKAGING
Leading paper merchant in Central & Eastern Europe executes diversification strategy
Vienna, 1st of March, 2022.
Europapier International AG, a subsidiary of HEINZEL GROUP, signed an agreement to acquire 100% of the shares of AtWill s.r.o., a Czech based paper merchant with business in Czech Republic and Slovakia. AtWill focuses on the sale of cash register discs for retail and industrial packaging applications.
For the last few years, leading paper merchant Europapier has been expanding into new markets and business areas to meet the ever-changing needs of customers in Central and Eastern Europe. From more than 60 warehouses in 13 CEE & CIS countries Europapier serves customers with a product portfolio containing more than 50.000 items across business segments like printing & writing, packaging, design & special papers, digital papers, visual communication, packaging solutions and hygiene products.
The latest acquisition of AtWill fits into the strategy of actively acquiring companies located in CEE & CIS operating in the hygiene and packaging sectors. In the 4th quarter of 2021 Europapier also completed the acquisition of others assets, including the entire customer and supplier lists as well as the inventory of Saneco d.o.o. in Slovenia and Kikoshop s.r.o. in Slovakia. Both companies are specialists in the sale and distribution of hygiene and food packaging products.
